π¨π§ Paint the meeting point of three nations β the Triple Frontier and the ItaipΓΊ Dam
Deep emerald rainforest. The silver river curving between countries. The vast ItaipΓΊ Dam pouring white water through its spillways in the distance. And three concrete obelisks standing on three riverbanks, marking the exact point where Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil meet. The Triple Frontier is one of the most extraordinary landmarks in South America β a place where borders, rivers and one of the largest hydroelectric dams on Earth all come together in a single view. And it is your painting.
Follow the river. Cross the border with your brush. Let the paint find the jungle. Paint it on your iPad or print it and paint on canvas β both are included.

β¨ A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
The Triple Frontier β Triple Frontera in Spanish, TrΓplice Fronteira in Portuguese β sits at the confluence of two major rivers, where Paraguay's Ciudad del Este, Argentina's Puerto IguazΓΊ and Brazil's Foz do IguaΓ§u meet. Each country has planted an obelisk in its national colours on its own riverbank, so the border is literally visible in three directions at once. Just upstream, the ItaipΓΊ Dam , jointly built and operated by Paraguay and Brazil between 1975 and 1984, stretches 7.9 kilometres across the river and stands 196 metres tall. When it was completed, it was the largest hydroelectric power station in the world by installed capacity, and it still generates roughly 90 percent of Paraguay's electricity. To build it, the two countries diverted a river, moved 50 million tonnes of earth and rock, and created a reservoir 170 kilometres long. The American Society of Civil Engineers named ItaipΓΊ one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World in 1994. Downstream, the same river becomes the IguazΓΊ Falls. Everything about this place is superlative β three countries, one river, and a wall of concrete holding back an ocean of water.
